Artist Introduction: SHHAN
The artist name "SHHAN" is derived from the initials of the real name, Han Seung Hun. In China and Japan, he is known by the name "Shan" (山). SHHAN tells the stories of cats living in various multiverses through art and blockchain technology, presenting these narratives in diverse forms such as media art and sculptures to the public.
SHHAN began his art career through Instagram, engaging in various media art activities and has amassed a significant following in Japan and Taiwan. In 2021, he launched the Shhans Crowned NFT collection, marking the start of his NFT art ventures. Particularly, the Mimic Shhans collection released in April 2022 gained immense popularity in Asia, including China and Singapore, even during a crypto downturn.
In 2023, SHHAN successfully held large-scale solo exhibitions in China and Seoul. He also made a permanent donation of the sculpture “Reincarnation (Stainless steel paint, 210×70×300cm)” to the OCT Boxes Art Museum in Foshan, China.

"Guardian of Dawn" blends Korean and Japanese traditions, depicting a black cat on an East Asian roof at dawn. The contrast of black and white mirrors Japanese elegance, while negative space echoes Korean ink wash paintings.
